For people living along the southern coastal areas of Kadavu, Matuku, Totoya, Moala, Moce, Kabara, Namuka-i-Lau, Ogea, Vatoa and Ono-i-Lau.

A Coastal Inundation Warning remains in force for the southern coastal areas of Kadavu, Matuku, Totoya, Moala, Moce, Kabara, Namuka-i Lau, Ogea, Vatoa and Ono-i-Lau.
A Damaging Heavy Swell Warning remains in force for the Kadavu Passage, Southern Koro Sea and Southern Lau Waters.
A Strong Wind Warning remains in force for all Fiji Waters.
This is due to a high pressure system and a low pressure system to the far south of Fiji that is generating and directing moderate to heavy swells which may result in minor coastal flooding over the southern coastal areas of Fiji.
Expect minor sea flooding along low lying and southern coastal areas of Kadavu, Matuku, Totoya, Moala, Moce, Kabara, Namuka-i-Lau, Ogea, Vatoa, Ono-i-Lau, especially during high tides from later today till tomorrow.
Swells heights could possibly reach 3.5 to 4.5 meters.
Those living along these coastal areas are advised to remain cautious and vigilant of coastal inundation of debris especially during high tides.
Hazardous breaking waves, strong currents are risky for swimming, fishing and other recreational sea activities.
Sea conditions can also be dangerous for small boats as it can capsize due to large waves and rough seas.
Meanwhile, a Strong Wind Warning remains in force for land areas of Southwest Viti Levu (Momi-Lomawai), Southern Viti Levu (Lomawai-Sigatoka-Coral Coast-Navua-Suva), Eastern Viti Levu (Tavua-Rakiraki-Korovou-Nausori), Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Southern
Bua Province (Dama-Nabouwalu-Kubulau), Yasawa Group, Lomaiviti and Lau groups.
Winds of this strength can damage houses of very light materials and cause old galvanised iron roofs to be blown off.
It can also break small tree branches and plants.
The current situation is closely monitored.
