Two men appeared at the High Court in Suva charged with one count each of unlawful possession of illicit drugs and unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs.
Prosecution confirmed to the court that there were 824 plants uprooted ranging from 12 centimetres to 129 centimetres.
The case was called before Judge Justice Vincent Perera yesterday.
The Court heard that on September 15, 2016, in Kadavu, ArisiKaitani and Atikini Matakorovatuwere were allegedly found with marijuana.
It is also alleged they both cultivated 7975.7 grams of marijuana.
The pair have been remanded in custody.
The case was adjourned to December 8 for plea.
