An 18-year-old student is admitted at the Vunisea Hospital in Kadavu after she complained of stomach ache and vomiting.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the student was reported to have been drinking with the two victims, Mataiasi Tumaitoga and Menusi Rakoto who died after they drank homebrew laced with chemical agent two weeks ago.
“She is reported to have been drinking with the two victims before she left for Kadavu to spend her holidays,” Ms Naisoro said.
Police are investigating the incident and awaiting lab test results of the drink.
